Sara Winfield
Survivor in October of 2004 when Brandy picked up a disabled motorist along St. Rt. 423. He was shot in the back of the head while giving him a ride home. Elected secretary of Ohio C.O.P.S. in October 2005. Brandy served with the Marion County Sheriff's Office for six years. The suspect pled guilty in September of 2005 and was sentenced to 43 years to life in prison.

Pam Sohn
Pam is the mother-in-law of Officer Doug Jacobs of the Riverside Police Department in California. Doug was shot and killed in 2001. The suspect received the death penalty. Pam has been very active with the Ohio Chapter since attending her first police week activities in 2002.
Treasurer
Teresa Cox
Teresa is the widow of Chillicothe Police Officer Larry Cox. He was shot in April of 2005 when he joined a foot pursuit of a robber while off duty. The suspect pled guilty to a life sentence after escaping from the Ross County Jail and remaining on the loose for 83 days.
Secretary
Lee Claypool
Lee is the sister of Columbus Police Sgt. Christopher Claypool. Chris was struck and killed by a hit and run driver while assisting at an accident scene in 2001. It took over a year to locate the suspect who was convicted and pled guilty to leaving the scene of an accident.
Regional Directors
Grace Leon is the widow of Cleveland Police Officer Wayne Leon. Wayne was shot in 2000. The offender received the death penalty. Grace serves the Cleveland northern part of Ohio.
John Kalaman is the father of Centerville Police Officer John Kalaman. He was struck by a vehicle in January of 1998 while assisting at an accident scene. The driver received a $200 fine and two traffic citations. John serves the Dayton and southern part of Ohio.
Kelly Raker became a police survivor in December 1997. She was a co-worker and friend of Officer Daniel Pope. Kelly has been involved with C.O.P.S. since Dan's death. She went to her first National Police week in 2001.
She has told us that the event changed her life forever. She is dedicated to helping those who will come after her, to be a part of their journey, and hopefully offer a hand to those in need. Kelly serves the Cincinnati area of Ohio.

Sue Veldkamp
Sue is President of Matschca Design, Inc. and has donated her web design services to create and maintain Ohio Fallen Officers.com.
Sue has been involved with Victim's organizations for many years, and donates her time and talent to organizations such as the Nicole Parker Foundation, Ohio C.O.P.S., the No Parole Peltier Association, and is currently a Board member of the Clermont County Humane Society located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Sue is also an Advisory Board Member for Ohio C.O.P.S.
Sue was the recipient of the 2000 "Making a Difference" award from the National Organization of Parents Of Murdered Children, Inc.
Kent Orso
Kent is Vice President of Imagenet 2000, a Cincinnati, Ohio web hosting firm and has graciously donated the hosting services for Ohio Fallen Officers.com. He also created and donated the extensive "Officer Search" feature within this web site.
Kent is a Police Officer with the Village of Newtown, Ohio, so this web site has been a labor of love in memory of all fallen officers. Kent also serves as an Advisory Board Member for Ohio C.O.P.S.
